In the grip of winter} Myself

Well, we’ve just spent two days in hospital with my youngest – asthma rearing it’s ugly head again. It’s a hard thing to watch your little girls struggling to breathe, and thank goodness that I live in a [sometimes] 1st world country where the care for children can be excellent. Anyway, she’s hanging out in my bed watching her Care Bear’s movie for the upteenth time! I would like to thank all the Nurses, Doctors, Auxillary staff & all support staff at Swan Districts Hospital for their wonderful & competent care.

Just a message to all those waiting for their proofs . . .I promise they are on their way

Thank you all for your patience!

So I find out today that my oldest daughter no longer wants to be a photographer, but now wants to be a fashion designer . . and my youngest wants to ‘cut hair’. The Project Runway programs are having their effect! I think my youngest wants to ‘cut hair’ because she wants her hair short
Alex modelled for me yesterday at a shoot – gorgeous as usual!

Kelly & Luke} Until You Session }Perth Wedding Photographer
Posted on July 20, 2009
This is such a beautiful couple! I met them over a year ago, and I immediately like them! We had already had to cancel because of wild & wet weather, but decided to go for it yesterday, despite the rain. It’s been a challenging week of wild weather and photo shoots!! My darling daughter needed a break from my other darling daughter, so I took her with me, and one of her images is featured here as well (thank you Kelly & Luke for listening to her verbal diarreaha
)
I can’t wait to photograph your wedding, I have a feeling that it’s going to be incredibly special and seriously fun!

This next one is Alex’s shot, taken with my new Canon G10, I told her that I would include a shot in if she did well – and I think that this image is gorgeous!
Well done Alex!!!!

A beautiful family} Until You Session
Posted on July 17, 2009
It was one of those afternoons that we are having lately in Perth, where the weather is blowy, cold and rainy – and although initally we decided to cancel our session, we all decided to take a punt and go for it. I started to think as I was driving to the spot about photographers in places like Melbourne where it rains all year round and realised that we in Perth get so used to the beautiful weather we always have and it’s really quite wonderful to think outside the square and try something different.
Anyway, I digress:) Matt & Dee are gorgeous, and their children are simply delightful. Each child is so different in personality. Master Z is mature & serious, with an occaisonal cheeky smile popping up, Miss C is bright, funny, full of questions and seriously photogenic, and the gorgeous Miss L is a beautiful chubby cheeked baby who was a little bit sick, but still had bright eyes. As for Matt & Dee, I can’t wait to photograph their wedding - even after three childrren you can see the chemistry and the love between them. Now for the images. . . . . .

So why have I used this title . . .well it’s what I’m listening while I am looking at these gorgeous images I took yesterday at Deep Water Point. It’s by . .now don’t laugh . . . Bryan Adams. I still love him after all these years, can listen to him all day sometimes. Back to the shoot. This gorgeous family were so much fun to photograph. The kids are all cousins, and they were delightful. I gained great insight about 12 year old boys, as one of them told me how much he LOVED Transformers 2 (no dialogue, a lot of tense panning and intense glances and not a lot else
) . . .he loved all the constant action. They were all cute! The girls were gorgeous and cheeky, full of gorgeous smiles. The Boys, of course, bent over backwards for them (good on ya girls!)
Shall we begin?
Why this image, you ask yourself? I have no idea, it just seriously appealed to me!
I nicely asked for them not to spit on me, which they very kindly didn’t
I can’t think which image I liked more!
She’s beautiful now, what is she going to be like when she grows up?

I love this kiss!
Aren’t they just sublime?
There were so many images I could have put into this post, but I must return to proofing and albums!
Thank you to the four families involved in yesterday’s adventures . . .your boys were incredibly well-behaved and thoughtful and I liked them immensely and as for the girls . . they were beautiful and sweet and it was lovely meeting you all. Krystal
