Confirmation Day } Perth Family & Event Photographer

My daughters go to a gorgeous local Catholic Primary School.  It’s small, single stream and very community driven.  Yesterday, was the Yr 6 & 7 Confirmation Celebration, and I got to photograph it!  For all of you looking for the proofs . . . they are ready  . . . but I’m getting a new shopping cart set up to streamline the ordering process, so just bear with me a couple of days!  Here is a sneak peak!

I love winter photography because of the gorgeous layers that you can use and mix it up with colour to make a great combination for images . . . but. . .  god it was cold. . . 13 degrees:) on this little shoot that I did in Hyde Park over the weekend.  Anyway, they are all such lovely people it was lovely to photograph them again!

I loved this combination of images.  She was so gorgeous!

It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon!

This gorgeous family have been my friends for many many years and it was wonderful to revisit and rephotograph with their latest addition.  I photographed them around my house, because they are old-fashioned couple that also live in an old-fashioned house.  Ruth is a beautiful, strong & amazing woman who I continue to admire.  She is an amazing cook, she is always spouting poetry & I think her family adore her . . . so I took the opprotunity to take some images of her, which I am hugely proud of.

When I was taking this image, I knew exactly how I wanted it to look in the final process . . .old fashioned.  Ruth is very retro and 50’s.

She’s beautiful.

This is, of course, the real reason that they wanted to have family photo’s done!

The weather held out for a good couple of hours for this shoot at Hyde Park, thank goodness!  I love catching the other side of a portrait taking – when you’ve got the chidren beautifully lined up and then 10 seconds later the portrait is lost

The delightful old tree’s in Hyde Park make an amazing backdrop!
