When the mum of this gorgeous family asked me to photograph her family, she mentioned that she had an old farmhouse in Toodyay and wouldn’t it be nice to photograph there? I leapt at the chance to do something different and fun . . . . little did I know that the day we decided to schedule the shoot it would end up being 45 degrees (45 DEGREES!!). I actually think I might have passed out if i had gone on any longer 
. The kids were fantastic – so much fun and up for anything. The Farmhouse was settled in the 1830′s and was just beautiful and I felt so lucky to photograph there – especially because the Toodyay Fires started while we were there. Thankfully for this family, their beautiful homestead was safe. Now for the photographs:
I love love love this shoot! Especially the family pic in the hammock (it certainly doesn’t look like 45′ – everyone looks so chilled!). But all in all, a great job!

Krystal these photos are amazing. I had no idea they would turn out so good. Thankyou for coming out to Toodyay to do these and we’re sorry it turned out to be such a hot day. We are grateful that the cottage was not taken by the bushfires and we expect the people of Toodyay most affected will be back on their feet soon. Thanks again,
