Chelsea & Pete Married } Perth Wedding Photographer

Posted on March 21, 2010

It was such an unusual day, after all the sunny hot days, it suddenly turned very cloudy and humid for Chelsea and Pete’s day.  It was beautiful though.  Chelsea was flawless and her bridesmaids were gorgeous and fun!  I loved the little details, like the socks that the groomsmen and the fathers had to wear with their designations on it.  At the very end of this day was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen in a long while, and we got to capture it at Cottesloe.  Thank you to Alanna for assiting me this day, you were wonderful!

Here is a couple of my favourites and then enjoy the slideshow!

Chelsea, you are flawless.

A Gorgeous & Gifted Family with their dog} Perth Family Photographer

Posted on March 16, 2010

This gorgeous family lives only a few blocks away from me in this incredible turn of the century house, so it was a pleasure to meet them and photograph them.  Each of the kids were so different and yet so gifted.  They asked for this shoot because of their parents anniversary but also because two of the three kids were moving away to Melbourne to persue their dreams.  It was wonderful meeting them and capturing them just before their lives move onto the next chapter.

Enjoy the Slideshow, it was a pleasure meeting you all!  Your Gallery is up and ready!

Amanda & Nick } E Session } Perth Wedding Photographer

Posted on March 11, 2010

I went to this shoot wondering what it was going to be like, because as it is everytime – shooting someone new is like jumping into a murky lake – you just don’t know what it’s going to be like.  In hindsight, I should have realised that it was going to be an easy easy shoot.  Amanda & Nick were so relaxed and casual – possibly because in the heat of the afternoon, how could you not be?  They brought their beautiful dog, Sam as well – who was incredibly spritely for one so old.  Sam also was a camera hogger as well and wanted to be basically the star of the show!  The day that Amanda & I chose to do their ‘E’ Session had, of course, to be a stupidly hot day followed by a very very hot evening.  . . . . 37 degrees at 6 p.m. (will this summer ever end?).  So, I decided to do something new and use my surroundings – so I got them into the water!  I think this could possibly be one of my more favourite shoots of the season.  I loved it.  The challenge was, to get Nick smiling on camera – which he says ‘NEVER’ happens – this I did with finesse (I’m sounding like a cat that’s just eaten a bowl of creme :) ).

Well, I can’t wait for your wedding next week, it’s going to be lovely for sure!

Enjoy the images.

Chelsea & Pete} E Session } Perth Wedding Photographer

Chelsea and Pete are getting married next weekend and I can’t wait – it’s going to be beautiful.  I was able to have a moment with them a few days ago in Hyde Park to take these shots and I was pretty thrilled!

Sneak Peak} Alison & Shane } Perth Wedding Photographer

Posted on March 1, 2010

When I first met this couple I fell immediately in love with them.  They have been together for a whopping 9 years already and they broke my record for the youngest couple to get married for me. :)   Their day dawned very strangely, the sky was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain and it was so so humid – but it was a gorgeous wedding.  Ali’s dress was couture and superb.  The little details at the ceremony were gorgeous as well – Michelle at ‘The Cut’ worked hard to get it just right.  I love the part when Ali and her dad are walking down the ‘aisle’ and their heads are just coming over the horizon – it was a beautiful moment.

I’m trying something different now . .  . a few images and then a little slideshow to show you a few more.  Enjoy!

Thank you so much to Holly Netto from Holly Netto Photography who helped me with this wedding and has some of her images featured in the slideshow.

Thanks Holly!
