This gorgeous and delightfully simple wedding was held in Sir James McKusker Park in Iluka. Leisa and James were such a lovely couple and it was wonderful to be able to photograph their wedding. Their daughter was just a darling, I loved her curly hair! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Marinella & Mark } Perth Wedding Photographer
Posted on October 20, 2010
This is a mammoth Blog post . . so settle back and get ready!
Marinella & Mark officially opened my wedding season and it was just a beautiful happy day to be part of! There were so many images that I could have used and I found it really difficult to choose what best represented their day, and I hope what I have chosen gives you a beautiful picture of this gorgeous wedding day.
It started quietly and calmly at Mark’s place, where both sets of parents came to watch their son prepare for his big moment. Why did I choose M&M’s as the first image to take? Well their name’s give it away and funny enough they filled their Bombardier’s with M&M’s as well!
Mark looked quietly nervous here!
I loved his mother’s hands – look at all those wonderful rings!
Didn’t he look gorgeous here?
Nella’s family home was fantastic! It’s one of those places that even if you were 40 with your own kids, you could go back to your old home and nothing would have changed.
The back of Nella’s dress was beautiful and this image is of her mother’s hands lacing her up.
Nella was beautiful and stunning and very nervous! Her smile just radiates and is quite brilliant.
A fish eye view of St. Joseph’s Church in Subiaco . . (I got married here, so it’s extra special for me)
Minutes before the walk down the aisle
I love this image . . . a private smile during a reading.
When the ceremony was over . . . these two became relaxed and happy.
See what I mean about being blinded by her brilliant smile?
Nella’s bridesmaid Dolly was such a lovely and gorgeous person. I especially loved her hair . . . and coveted it madly!
All in all a fantastic start to my wedding season . . . and a beautiful way to start a life together.
Thank you Nella & Mark, I loved being part of your beautiful day!

Nowadays it’s so hard to find relationships that really last and somehow Kelly & Ben have found the secret and have been together since high school. We went down to Coogee Beach for an hour at sunset for their Pre-Wedding Session and it was beautiful.
Look how the green the water is . . . it was amazing!

Katie & Paul } Perth Wedding Photographer
Posted on August 15, 2010
A little while ago, a dear friend of mine Nils from Fig Tree Photography asked me to help with a wedding that she was photographing and what a gorgeous day we had. Katie and Paul are a delightful couple who obviously had so much in common with each other and there was so much love there. Her parents came from my part of the world (Africa) and they were a lovely down-to-earth family. The church was in Fremantle and it was the first time that I had gotten to have a look inside . . . very impressive and very yellow
Now for some images:
The wedding had a very nautical theme to it – they had met on the Leuwin and sailed for a while together.
The house that Katie got ready in was very romantic and baroque in decor . . just gorgeous.
Just a few more images to show what the day was like . . . . just lovely.
As usual it was lovely working with you Nils!

The Handsome Mr. M.
Posted on August 9, 2010
18 months ago, I photographed the beautiful wedding of Kristy & Hilton. It was such a gorgeous wedding full of love and happiness and was a beautiful day.
Let me take you back for a moment:
So I got to revisit this beautiful couple but this time with a new addition – Baby M!
What a gorgeous delightful boy he was, but he was also at that typical age of teething big time (poor darling).
Kristy & Hilton – it was lovely seeing your new beautiful baby. Here is the link to your Gallery.

The Secret Recipe to a Beautiful Wedding } Perth Wedding Photographer
Posted on May 21, 2010
Firstly, a handsome groom:
With a few accessories thrown in, like this one:
And don’t forget his equally stylish and devilishly handsome sidekicks who will insure that he gets to the alter in time:
Then you add the beautiful bride, gorgeous, fluttery, nervous and happy
Add some pretty Bridesmaids to keep her laughing and her dress safe.
Then together this beautiful Bride and handsome Groom come together in a beautiful place to say their vows and share their love:
And to smile and cry their joy at finally coming together
. . . . and then to kiss – the most important part of all
(awww Michelle . . . . you were so happy!)
The Final Part to this recipe must include:
Love
Laughter
. . . and sweeping romantic moments
and then back to laughter . . . . as much laughter as you can bring on
Accompanied by seriously good music . . . these guys were fantastic: Platinum DJ’s
In the Final moments of you perfect Wedding Day, the most important secret ingredient of all is to find yourself the most romantic song and dance with the man/woman you have just chosen to be your lifelong partner and shuffle along – forgetting the world exists and never forget your wedding day.
Then when that’s finished . . . . . . go back and boogey again until the sun comes up!
Michelle & Justin – congrats for your beautiful day, I hope your Honeymoon was wonderful! Your family were a blast, your wedding was fantastic!

Jessica & Rob } Geraldon} Western Australia Wedding Photographer
Posted on April 26, 2010
This was my third & final country trip for this wedding season and it was amazing! Firstly, I had never been to Geraldton and I was pleasently surprised at how beautiful it was. Although it was Easter weekend so there wasn’t much opened, we still managed to find a great resturant to have a gorgeous Spagetti Marinara (my fav) to have.
Jessica & Rob’s wedding was gorgeous and very stylish. Jessica looked like a poster girl from the 20′s – her hair, dress and make-up were very reminesent of it. The flowers were incredible using her colours of blue and burnt orange and creme. The orchids were enchanting. Her girls were gorgeous, fun and delicioius. They kept Jessica happy and relaxed and there was even some interesting dancing taking place on their fabulous Limboscene that they had hired. On Rob’s side, it was all laughs. Rob has two brother’s who are twins and are very very tall. Every so often they would come and tower over me and ask me if I wanted anything. All in all they were all gorgeous, fun and relaxed and it made it such an easy and sparkly day for everyone.
The only downer was later that evening whilst coming home, just a little tired I was ‘done’ for . . . . wait for it, not speeding or drinking or any other dangeourous activities, no for INAPPROPRIATE USE OF FOG LIGHTS. It required the police to use lights, breathaliser, a stern lecture and a ticket. . . . . I hadn’t even realised I had them on . . . new car what can I say?
So with so many gorgeous images, I’ve have used the Slideshow again with an unusual song that Jess & Rob chose. Initially I thought . . . eeek . . . is this too well …too rock, but no, I think it goes beautifully with these images that I am so proud of. Thank you Jessica & Rob for such a memorable day, I won’t forget getting lost at your parents farm (Jess) or the incredible height of your gorgeous brothers (Rob) or the antics of your girls Jess (skirts up girls!) or the love that the two of you so obviously share,
Krystal
Finally, thank you to my mum who drove with me to Geraldton and who managed to ‘chat’ both all the way there and then all the back – it was fantastic!

“Today was a Fairytale” } Perth Wedding Photographer
Posted on April 25, 2010
Amanda and Nick got married on a beautiful March day in the Swan Valley. Mandy had obviously really thought about the details of her wedding, because there was little touches everywhere of her: the purple shoes, the glass vases, the gifts for the guests and the lollies . . . . if you were diabetic, you would have lost out at this wedding because it was lolly heaven
Enjoy Mandy & Nick, sorry the posting is a little late – but swamped with work as usual!!
Thank you to Nils for helping me on this day, you are invaluable as usual!
